Experimental feature: Twitter update and Flickr posting

Two new interesting features:

First one, twitter update: if you take a picture from your mobile using 8Motions, this could generate a “twit” with the link to the photo and place that has been uploaded,like this:

Using LWUIT with J2memap

One of J2memap user wanted to use the application with the LWUIT framework from Sun. So, after some research, it appears that only one modification was needed: a callback to notify the host that the screen needed to be repainted.
This has been done by adding a new callback in the mapDisplayListener:
asBeenRepaint();

Two new functions added in OpenCellID API

Just added two new useful functions in the OpenCellIDAPI:

measure/list to list your measures
and
measure/delete to delete on measure
This is usefull if you made some errors…
Also note that entry with either lat or lon equals to 0 will not be accepted, as this is a frequent error…

Lonely Planet API

Big news in my view in the tourist area: Lonely Planet, one of the biggest brand in traditionnal tourist guide, just launched an API to access to his content.
The API is REST/XML based, quite easy to understand. So congrat to Chris (yes, one of the numerous former ex-In-Fusio guys in this area!)

New version of the J2memap SDK available

Hello dear J2memap developer,
We’ve just put on line a new version of the SDK.
Beyon some small improvment, there is a major (but easy to handle) change:

Tha package name has changed, to follow our company organisation. It moved from net.landspurg to com.eightmotions. So just replace it in your source code
